COMUNICATO
Venendo incontro alle tante aspettative dei cattolici
tradizionalisti,
nell’àmbito del rinnovato e crescente interesse
per la Liturgia tradizionale
Sabato 24 maggio 2003, a. D.,
festa di S. Maria Ausiliatrice,
alle ore 15,30, a Roma,
nella Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore,
il Card. Darìo Castrillon Hoyos,
Prefetto della Congregazione per il Clero e
Presidente della Pontificia Commissione “Ecclesia
Dei”
dirigerà la recita del S. Rosario e
officierà la Santa Messa tradizionale detta
“di San Pio V”
E’ la prima volta, dal 1970, che un Cardinale di Santa
Romana Chiesa, Prefetto in carica, celebra
pubblicamente una S. Messa col rito tradizionale,
a Roma, in una Basilica papale.
A nessuno può sfuggire il grande significato
che riveste un simile evento: è un segno rilevante che potrebbe
produrre dei grandi frutti, a Dio piacendo.
Come ben si comprende, si tratta di una occasione
di enorme importanza per il futuro della liturgia tradizionale.
Tutti i fedeli di Santa Madre Chiesa sono caldamente
invitati a fare uno sforzo particolare per essere presenti, numerosi.
L’appuntamento è per tutti, a Roma, davanti
alla Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore, alle ore 15.
Preghiamo tutti gli amici di dare al presente comunicato
la maggiore diffusione possibile e di fare ogni sforzo per essere presenti.

Venant à l’encontre des si nombreuses attentes
des catholiques traditionalistes,
dans le contexte de l’intérêt croissant
et renouvelé pour la Liturgie traditionnelle
le samedi 24 mai 2003, a. D.,
fête de Marie Auxiliatrice,
à 15 h 30, à Rome,
dans la Basilique de Saint-Marie-Majeure,
le Card. Darìo Castrillon Hoyos,
Préfet de la Congrégation pour le Clergé
et
Président de la Commission pontificale “Ecclesia
Dei”
dirigera la récitation du Saint Rosaire et
célébrera la Sainte Messe traditionnelle
dite “de Saint Pie V”.
C’est la première fois, depuis 1970, qu’un cardinal
de la Sainte Eglise Romaine, préfet en fonction, célèbre
publiquement une Messe selon le rite traditionnel, à Rome, dans
une Basilique majeure papale.
Un tel événement revêt une grande
signification qui ne peut fuir à personne: c’est un signe important
qui, s’il plaît à Dieu, pourrait produire de grands fruits.
Comme l’on comprend bien, il s’agit d’une occasion
d’énorme importance pour l’avenir de la Liturgie traditionnelle.
Tous les fidèles de notre Sainte Mère
l’Eglise sont chaleureusement invités à faire un effort particulier
pour être présents nombreux.
Le rendez-vous pour tous est, à Rome, devant
la Basilique de Sainte-Marie-Majeure, à 15 h 00.
Nous prions tous nos amis de diffuser le plus possible
le communiqué ci-dessus et de faire de grands efforts pour être
présents.

STATEMENT
In order to meet the many expectations of the traditionalist
Catholics, within the renewed and growing interest in the Traditional Liturgy:
Saturday, 24th May 2003 a.D.
feast of Our Lady Maria Ausiliatrice
at 3.30 p.m., in Rome, in the Basilica of Santa Maria
Maggiore,
Cardinal Darìo Castrillo Hoyos
Prefect of the Clergy Congregation and
President of the Papal Commission “Ecclesia Dei”
will lead the recitation of the Rosary and
will officiate the traditional Holy Mass which
is called “of St. Pio V”.
This is the first time, since 1970, that a Cardinal
of the Holy Roman Church, Prefect in office, has celebrated in public a
Holy Mass according to the traditional rite, in Rome, in a papal Basilica.
Everybody understands the meaning of such an event:
it is, God willing, a prominent sign which could bear much fruit.
As we well understand, it is an occasion of great importance,
for the future of the traditional Liturgy.
All the believers of the Holy Mother Church are warmly
invited to make every effort to be present in number.
The appointment is, for everybody, outside the Basilica
of Santa Maria Maggiore , at 3.00 p.m..

Um den großen Erwartungen der traditionalistischen
Katholiken entgegenzukommen, im Bereich des erneuerten und wachsenden Interesse
für die traditionelle Liturgie:
Am Samstag, dem 24. Mai 2003, a.D.,
Fest der heiligen Maria Ausiliatrice,
um 15.30 Uhr, in Rom,
in der Kirche von Santa Maria Maggiore,
wird Kardinal Darìo Castrillon Hoyos,
Präfekt der Geistlichen Kongregation und
Präsident des Papstausschusses „Ecclesia
Dei“
den Rosenkranz vorbeten und
die traditionelle sogenannte „von S. Pio v“ heilige
Messe zelebrieren.
Das ist das erste Mal, seit 1970, dass ein Kardinal
der heiligen Römisch-katholischen Kirche , ein amtierender Prefekt,
öffentlich eine heilige Messe nach der traditionellen Liturgie, in
Rom, in einer Papstkirche, hält.
Niemandem kann die große Bedeutung eines solchen
Ereignisses entgehen: es ist ein wichtiges Zeichen, das reiche Früchte
tragen könnte, mit Gottes Hilfe.
Wie man gut versteht, handelt es um eine Gelegenheit
von großer Bedeutung, für die Zukunft der traitionellen Liturgie.
Alle Gläubige der heiligen Kirche werden wärmstens
eingeladen, um ein besonderes Opfer zu bringen und zahlreich teilzunehmen.
Der Treffenpunkt ist für alle in Rom, vor der
Kirche von Santa Maria Maggiore, um 15.00 Uhr.
